Well we just witnessed a great X Factor semi final and probably one of the strongest that we have seen for years. But we saw Diana Vickers leave the competition and three great acts make their way to the Final.

So let’s take some time and have a look at the three finalists that are in the competition.

Alexandra Burke
First and foremost let’s have a look at the big voice of Alexandra Burke. This girl was in the X Factor three years ago but only got as far as visiting the judge’s homes as Louis Walsh sent her home, consequently Shayne Ward another of Louis’s acts, went on to win. I feel that this lady is somewhat being compared a lot to Leona Lewis, but I just do not think that should be the case. Alexandra has her own style Leona was like a Mariah and Alexandra has a heavier voice like Toni Braxton. One of the favourites to win.

JLS
The boy band have made it through to the final. They have been stated as the best group ever on the X Factor and I really feel they are. Week in week out I feel this group has pulled off all of their performances, even though it is not their style of music. In the Semi finals we saw them perform some of their best music to date and it looks like they are going to sneak in to take the crown.

Eoghan Quigg
The young singer is probably getting a lot of votes from teens and the elderly but to be honest he has a great tone to his voice, but I just do not feel that he has the power in his voice to make it to the final two. In my opinion Alexandra and JLS are much better singers and I do not think Eoghan Quigg should win. I can see Alexandra and JLS being around for along time and even cracking America, but I cannot see this with Eoghan Quigg. He reminds me of Gareth Gates a bit, he was good while on the show, successful for a year but now gone.

Whatever happens we are guaranteed to see a great final and with a variety of secret special guests perform with the upcoming stars, we may well see great duets and performances. But one thing I can guarantee will be upsets as two people get whittled down to one.
