There is no sheilding on the pickguard of course. I have a loose wire that is plain. No rubber coatin at all. It looks as though it was under the shielding on the old plastic pickguard. I'm not sure where it goes. The problem is; there is a drastic reduction in power in the lead pickup, and I'm getting a hum when I let go of the strings. HELP! I have to be in the studio end of the month!! cant afford a Store Tech!! Until after the album!! Lol! Greatly appreciate any help!
