The Korg M3 represents a new generation workstation. Korg introduced the first workstation in 1988 called the Korg M1 and since then have sold more keyboard workstations than any other manufacturer.

The new Korg M3 has many new features including the New EDS synthesis from the HD-1 sound generator used on the OASYS: Quadruple Velocity Switching, high performance sound filters and flexible modulation for live sounds.

Altogether, the Korg M3 includes 1028 Multisamples and 1606 Drumsamples (many in Stereo, with separate Samples for different attack ranges) are available. The touch sensate LCD display has been revised and makes the M3 workstation operation an easy one.

The M3 includes eight dynamic attack pads for drums and sound effects and a multi-function control surface that provide more expressive control. The Virtualized hardware with Firewire allows easy connection of the M3 and your computer.

The Korg M3 workstation comes with three sizes of keyboard. The 61 key and 73 key versions use Korgs new keyboard design and the 88 key is a weighted keyboard using Korgs new Quadruple Velocity Switching system.
