Is it better to teach yourself piano with a website online or am I better downloading a piano software course that I can use on my laptop. Either way I don’t mind paying for the lessons, I just want the easiest and best way to learn.

I would have to say that downloading piano software is the best option and I’ll tell the reason why. Most quality piano software download courses are up to 400 MB in size and contain video and audio files, ploughing through a website looking for all this data is going to at best, a slow solution.

If you have it all on your laptop its there for you instantly. Let’s face it, the last thing you want when you’re trying to teach yourself piano is having to wait for a website to load a video or a particular file you might need, and as good as the internet is it’s still considerably slower than your own computer.
