    I was so excited when my new drum kit arrived and I got my best friends over to help me to set it up. We set to work and finished surprisingly quickly. Then came the time to test it. I took a seat and, excitedly, began to play…..but no noise came out. My ingenious friend said to me that she saw nowhere for sound to come from, a point which would otherwise have gone unntoiced. We investigated and realised that there were no speakers. This was disappointing as this was not mentioned on the website. We plugged in some iPod headphones which worked but as I bought the drum kit not only for solo use but also in a band this didn’t solve all the problems. Also, the iPod wire kept getting in the way, making it very hard to play. I have come to the inevitable conclusion that I must buy an amplifier and a cable to connect it but this has caused a lot of hassle so I thought I would write a review so that others can avoid the inconvenience I am faced with.

    Easy to set up (15 minutes). Built in drums sounds are excellent and connecting to a computer via USB was also straight forward. Both the pads and stand are very well put together. These could easily be used on stage… Very impressed.
